NOTICE BOARD

Welcome Back

The children have settled brilliantly and we are all starting to get into a routine which is fantastic! We shall be looking at different books together and especially with our older children we shall be discussing why we are special, who is in our family, what makes us different, what's our favourite food etc. We also have lots of craft activities to do such as self portraits, making our own person and lots of messy play! Myself and the rest of the staff have started to observe the children so that we can see their interests to then incorporate these into their next steps.

This week we shall be looking at the sound ‘a’ and still focusing on the topic of ‘all about me’, we are looking at the story of the ‘Owl Babies’ . The children love this story and it reconfirms that mummies and daddies do come back! We have lots of activities relating to this next week which I think the children will absolutely love!!!

Gill has hopefully forwarded invoices to everyone, if you haven't received one yet, could you contact Gill Jerman directly. Gill has also been busy trialing a new system for booking ad hoc sessions which she sent details about earlier this week. There is now an online form which can be submitted directly to preschool admin. With immediate effect, all ad hoc sessions should be requested using this form which can be also be found on the links on our 'Home' page and 'Contact us' page.

Over the last few months, as per the government guidelines, we have put a lot of additional safety measures in place. Please familiarise yourself with our Covid 19 policy. Even though we may be doing things a little bit differently compared to our staged return in June, the stricter hygiene and cleaning procedures remain in place and I am confident that your child/children will soon settle in, feeling happy and safe within the setting.

Please be aware that due to coronavirus, there will be no hot dinners from school. We are hopeful that these will resume in the not too distant future. If your child is staying for lunch, you will need to provide a lunch bag, preferably in a disposable bag.

If you have any queries or concerns please don't hesitate to contact us.

Could I also ask that masks be worn when entering the building in line with the new safety regulations.
